Who went to the gym tonight to do 45-60 min of steady state cardio on a calorie restricted / low carb diet?? I bet those same people struggle to control ideal weight unless they constantly stick to this routine...for ever. This kind of eating and exercise can in fact damage metabolism, slowing it right down to a halt, making our weight loss battle almost impossible. Stick to a well balanced meal plan, avoid processed foods and train using weights and intervals with an intensity you can only maintain for 50 min max.
