Whoever gains the Pleasure of Allah by the anger of the people, - TopicsExpress

Whoever gains the Pleasure of Allah by the anger of the people, Allah suffices him of the peoples troubles. And whoever gains the pleasure of the people by the Anger of Allah, then Allah leaves him to the people. [Sahih Tirmidhi Sharif] A great example of a Sahaba (Companion) who gained the pleasure of Allah by the anger of the people -󾬑Sayyidina Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ)󾬑 Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) was an Abyssinian (Ethiopian) slave belonging to a Jew called Umayya Bin Khalf, who was a bitter enemy of Islam. He embraced Islam in its early days, during times when the non-believers would continuously harass the Muslims and never allow them a moment of peace. There were times when a large boulder would be placed upon his blessed chest as he lay on the scorching sand, his ribs being crushed under the weight. Yet the words Ahad! Ahad! (There is only one Allah!) were constantly repeated by Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ), so strong was his faith and love. His Jewish master would insult him and threaten him to denounce Islam, beat him, whip him and humiliate him on the streets of Makkah, but nothing was able to shake Hazrat Bilal’s heart. He put his life and soul into the Hands of Allah, and there it would forever remain. Eventually, Sayyidina Abu Bakr and RasulAllah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) freed bought Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ). The Jewish man (Umayya) told Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) to pay a ridiculously high price for Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) which Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) agreed to pay. He told Hazrat Abu Bakr that he was stupid for paying such a high price for such an individual, Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) replied by saying, he (Umayya) was the stupid one, had he asked for more money he would have given it! SubhanAllah such was the love the Companions had for each other! May this love grow in the hearts of every Ummati 󾬏 Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) got his recompense. After the great victory of the Battle of Badr, when the Muslims were taking the non-believers as prisoners of war, Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) saw Umayya, his harsh former master being taken as a prisoner. He said either he lives or me. And this was the case, Umayya was killed, this is what happens to a person who gains the pleasure of the people by the Anger of Allah, they never win. When Hazrat Bilals wife realized that death was approaching Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ), she became sorrowful. It is documented that she cried and said, What a painful affliction! However, Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) objected his wifes opinion by stating, On the contrary, what a happy occasion! Tomorrow I will meet my beloved Muhammad and his host! SubhanAllah! ❤️❤️ May we be able to visit this blessed and beautiful Companion in Damascus, Syria. May we able to hear his famous and magnificent voice in Jannah in shaa Allah Ameen ❤️❤️❤️ Peace and Blessings be upon you O Hazrat Bilal! ❤️❤️ Hazrat Bilal (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) love for the Messenger (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم).
