Whores and Politicians.....I wonder if folks have forgotten a moment in time where an American elected official did something proper and respectful when it came to money. Do you remember when the Sheik from Saudi Arabia offered Rudi Giuliani $10 million dollars for the memorial to the victims of 9/11? Mr. Giuliani did us all proud by turning down the dollars, a pretty awesome display of judgement. Now we look today at the old jokes who run the Republican party and who fit well with this old joke that I am going to tell you. Let me apologize for the subject but not for its implications. An older gentleman asked a young woman if she would sleep with him for $100 dollars. She was totally offended and the old fellow upped that anti into the thousands of dollars range. The woman could be seen thinking, so he added another zero and she was obviously interested. He then dropped the amount to $1,000 to which she declared, You think Id sleep with you for only a thousand dollars? What do you think I am, a whore? The less than gentle man replied, Weve established what you are, we are now negotiating the price. As we look at the whores who now occupy the seats in our House and our Senate we have to realize what we are looking at. If there is one who like Rudi Giuliani knew when money was inappropriately offered and could turn it down appropriately, then I want to work to elect that man. - Dr. Jim Garrow
