Whos the leader of the club Thats made for you and me? M-I-C K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E Full Metal Jacket, directed by Stanley Kubrick, has got to be the quirkiest war movie I have ever seen. Aside from vividly capturing the insanity many soldiers faced during the Vietnam War, when in the battlefield and training ground, it incorporates a sense of dark humor also employed by Martin Scorcese. And another thing, where Martin Scorcese changes his directorial style for every movie, Stanley Kubrick keeps the same style for every movie hes ever made. Though it might not be as action packed as Apocalypse Now or DeerHunter, Full Metal Jacket is a must watch film.
