Why I can NEVER cast a vote for GMB« Most folks have asked me Why I wouldnt cast my vote for GMB. I have always answered that Its not about why I wouldnt, the truth is that I can NEVER cast my vote for GMB. Most have thought it is based on religious ground but those that know me too well knows i have never been a bigot in my life. My choice of friends says it all-60% of my close friends are Muslims & I casted my vote for late Late Umar Yaradua in 2007 & for Ribadu/Adeola (a muslim/muslim ticket) in 2011 So clearly, it isnt about Religion. I simply wont cast my vote for GMB bcos he is immature. Maturity has nothing to do wth Age. I have listened to GMBs political speeches over & over again & honestly, its nothing to write home about. GMB is just as clueless as GEJ but worse than GEJ in the sense that GEJ is humble enough to accept he doesnt know & thus consult Experts like Madukwe, Iweala,Aganga, Sharon Kasali etc but GMB will NEVER consult anybody, he has a pride that is not based on reality. This is revealed often in his speeches. Now all those aside. More importantly, I will NEVER cast my vote for GMB bcos my direct generation (Corpers) were killed bcos of an election he contested in & losed YET he has NEVER been remorseful about this but kept inciting his followers by his speech to shed more blood in 2015. Whose blood??? PDP blood or the blood of the innocent citizens he is proposing to rule? 1 thing he forget is that these citizens have families too. They have Fathers, Mothers & Siblings that grieves when they die. They are sons & daugthers of some one too YET he is completely INSENSITIVE to that and kept makin anarchy speeches. That is IMMATURITY. What kind of Old man is that? Those actions shows INSENSITIVITY & staunch SELFISHNESS. Then also he has a problem of INTEGRITY. He said in 2011 that it is the last time he will contest in any Presidential Election & capped it up with crocodile tears but here we are, he is back again, so how do u expect me to trust such a person??? Some one that Nationaly made a declaration & in less than 4yrs act contrary to what he said??? Haba! No Integrity & incase some of u dont know what INTEGRITY means. It means Doing exactly as u said & only IMMATURE men lack integrity. Also from the declaration of his assets-inspite of him working for over 25yrs wth the Federal Govt-does not show honesty but complete LACK of financial Intelligence. He doesnt have to do anything illegal. The positions he has held in the Federal Govt. Offices are enough for him to legally make more out of his life than the declaration of assets that even me as a small time Entrepreneur of less than 7yrs have almost acquired. So clearly he will be an ECONOMIC disaster. Well, even when he ruled in 1984 that was evident as inflation shot up by 41%, one of the worst so far in Nigeria history. Lastly he is surrounded by Men that have NEVER been loyal to superiors. E.g Tinubu, Atiku, Amaechi, El Rufai etc and these men are clearly politically/financially smarter than him. A Vote for GMB will mean selling Nigeria into the hands of these GREEDY & OVER AMBITIOUS men. They will want to find a way to rule Nigeria behind the scene & most likely, GMB will not allow them which will lead to fresh drama & instability in the country. I will rather support the incumbent Government to solve the mess on ground than having to start a fresh one that will also take years to wipe. GEJ is not my true choice just like GMB isnt. But in light of the choices I am confronted with, I will have to choose the lesser evil which is GEJ bcos I MUST vote. Let those that are open minded, reason this & let the closed minded feel free to rain insults.
