Why ICC is a Kangaroo Court.. #OneDownTwoToGo. This whole ICC cases makes a mockery of judicial jurisprudence... all the actors from investigators, prosecution, defense even judges seems to have gone rogue. Investigators seems to have done a poor job (looks like most the witnesses were actually procured after the confirmation, and even then verification of veracity of statements wasnt done or was did poorly. prosecution did not provide information to the defense evidence that some witnesses had recanted /lied despite having information even before the confirmation hearing- they were even sited by the judges for this fact that borders on malpractice. decision to call unwilling witnesses should only have be done if they could prove their often-repeated claim of coercion / inducement. these witnesses have added no value to the case (and in effect as the defense has still gone out to provide evidence of lying) have actually emboldened the view that inducement given by the prosecution, though wholly legal, may have led to false testimonies. Would paid witnesses be testifying without the material offers?. Th defendants on the other hand have led a smear campaign against the court and are likely to keep the fight on even beyond the cases. The judges, without any legal precedence and against every known jurisprudence, have declined to stop the cases. that is highly irregular and would bring the competence of the judge in any developed democracy globally. it really shouldnt matter who has blocked evidence, if you dont have it, you cannot indict! period! either way, the prosecution always claimed they had the evidence until when called to proceed with the trial.
