Why am I running for school board? I am running for School Board because as a current parent of four school aged children (1st, 4th, 8th grade (twins)), I believe in our community and care greatly about the children and families in our valley. Santa Clarita is where I grew up. Whenever I ask a parent why they live in Santa Clarita I most likely hear “it is wonderful place to live because of its quality of life, its great schools and people”. I want to ensure that Saugus Union Schools continue to be the highest performing and choice for elementary education that prepares our children for the future. We have an amazing multi-generation tradition in Saugus USD. Families build their legacies and Saugus schools do as well. Along with our teachers, staff and administrators, I place great value on what previous accomplishments exists, but WE are all driven to build upon our excellence!
