Why are motorcycles gaining popularity? The increase in fuel - TopicsExpress

Why are motorcycles gaining popularity? The increase in fuel prices and congestion resulting to loss of productivity are the main reasons why the motorcycle riding community will continue to experience unstoppable growth. People in government and public service must begin to seriously consider the motorcycle riding community as a partner in nation building rather than a scourge in the streets. 1. The motorcycle is a cost-efficient alternative compared to public transport systems. 2. It only occupies a small amount of space that helps reduce traffic volume on the streets and even in parking lots. 3. It also helps our nation in conserving energy resources. On the average bike - a 100cc up to 150cc, the gasoline consumption hovers around 35-50 kilometers per liter. My fearless forecast, in just a few years we will be seeing more and more motorcycles on the streets than there are cars. The Philippines will be like Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and India sooner than expected.
