Why are we even discussing MILPERs when we have $400B in DoD acquisition program cost over runs. Im pretty sure that if we eliminated those wed have enough to not influence pay, retirement or any other area for a quarter century or more. Not to mention that many of these procurement programs only exists to provide for congressional constituents and Congress wont allow bases or programs that the brass no longer want to be shutdown for cost savings. So no, I dont understand...
