Why are you afraid or worried about your future when you hear or receive Gods call, or you hear about your friend that received Gods call? You dont need worry or be afraid, whenever God says He wants to use you, instead, you should be happy because He has decided to take you far beyond your little plans and aspirations in life. He is taking your certificate which needs to be upgraded just for you to be promoted few steps ahead and giving you His golden certificate which will make you fly where or when those with paper certificates are walking. He wants to take you far beyond where paper certificate, you place your future on, men,money and human knowledge can never take you to in life. He has decided to make an everlasting covenant with you like He made with Abraham, Isaac, Israel, David, Joseph, Daniel, Moses, Apostle Paul etc; place His riches and glory in your hands, which will be transferred to your 100th generations even when you are no more, like He did to King Solomon, in his time, silver and gold were like the common stones you see everywhere. He did not want you to queue behind common men to beg for survival, instead He has decided to make presidents and rulers of nations to come to you and say Daddy please pray for me . He wish to advertise you to the whole world.(1Cor.2:9). Are you afraid because you lack wisdom, knowledge, you dont know what to tell the people? (James 1:5, 1Cor3:18-19) . He chose to use your foolishness to frustrate the wise, scholars, scribes, geologist, scientist, philosophers, geographers, meteorologist etc and also make them learn and acquire knowledge from your foolishness under your feet like the case of Peter and Apostle Paul.(1Cor. 1:20-21, 1Cor. 2:6-8, 13). All these good and marvelous things does not come easy, as an adage says no good things come easy. It starts from your determination to accept Christ, confession of sins, flee from inequities, self denial, deny yourself of the lusts and the things of this world that people call enjoyment, ask God to kill your flesh and give you His spirit(James 4:4) Fast and pray without ceasing; check yourself always to know if the passion and love for Christ in you had not been substituted with money or materials, shift your focus from the world and set your eyes on the incurruptible crown; knowing fully that there is no height you can attain on earth that can be compared to the everlasting joy in heaven, like the wordings of the popular hymn, Draw Me Nearer reads There are heights of joy that I may not reach till I rest in peace in thee Dont ever rely on your strength or see yourself as a saint, ask for forgiveness always (1 John 1:8). If God has made covenant with you, dont be discouraged, tarry or wait unto it, be patient, persevere and increase your level of faith. Joseph waited for 17years, Abraham waited for 25years (Heb. 11:8-11). it will never tarry, it is for an appointed time (Hab. 2:2-3, Num. 22:19, Num. 23:19). Always ask for the grace to make heaven because the eternal race is not a sprint that you can complete within few seconds, it is a marathon. If not because the journey is not a sprint, King Asa who served God with all his heart and did that which was right before the LORD for 39years would not have fumbled(2Chronicles 14,15,16). The only thing that you need to be successful in life is just to hearken unto the Voice of the LORD and keep His commandments. That is why any man God blesses, he become exceedingly great throughout the days of his life without experiencing any sorrow. So I beseech you that any moment, any day or anytime God assigns a difficult task or command you to do something that will cost you money, time, material, deny you of your enjoyment or even take you away from your place of comfort, please obey diligently with all your might and all you have because He has decided to take you to the next level and that is the sacrifice you need to pay for that greatness to come. There is nothing we do for God on earth that the reward is not for us.
