Why arent more people as incensed as I am by what the Senate just did to strike down a Senatorial procedure to require 60 or more votes to cut off a filibuster on a judicial nominee? When you consider what the Democrats position on this issue was just back in 2005 when Harry Reid was minority leader and called such legislation as a nuclear option, its an unbelievably hypocritical move to support the same type of move when your party becomes a majority. When you think of the fact that more than 200 years of Senatorial precedent was broken in such a non-chalant and partisan manner, it reflects horribly on both sides of Congress, but especially the Democrats. Why my Facebook feed has been so dead silent on this, I have no idea at all.
