Why cant production studios create contracts with Apple, Amazon, Google, and other streaming services to have brand new movies that would normally be in a theaters instead stream to your house? They can still charge the exorbitant $11 or $12 prices and it would probably put some theaters out of business but as long as the studio got their money and the streaming services could create a contract that would be lucrative for both parties, why not? The only thing you would be missing is nine dollar popcorn and four dollar Coke!
