Why did I end up a supervisor at the most dangerous place in Afghanistan? The stories about Shank are all true by the way. For those of you in Shindand count your blessings you are somewhere so safe. Four days ago I moved out of a transient tent and into a building. Two days ago the very same tent and the very same bed I slept in took a piece of shrapnel to size of a cell phone straight through it. Had I not moved I would have been fast asleep in that bed given my work schedule. Our guys were lucky that day but some others were not so fortunate and prayers are needed for those that were affected. Thank you for all that pray for me and keep them coming....we need them here.
