Why do bad things happen to good people? Well I dont know! But I do know that bad things happen to bad people too. When it happens we tend to blame God as you understand him to be ? I think God is really upset over this too. What I dont understand is when thousands of people women and children are killed in an earth-quake and rescuers find one child alive and say it was a miracle. And give God all the glory for saving this one child. When patients in Palliative care say things like , Why me? All I can say to them is, I cant answer that but I know God has done a lot for you in your life. The miracle of birth alone the world you live in. We may never understand where it all came from or how we got here and where we are going after this life but if there is no heaven, it was all for nothing. Maybe heaven isnt a place we go to but a place we make here on earth? When you are dying its hard to wrap your head around this. All I can say is if you are reading this you are alive and you have life for today. Treat this day and everyone around you with love. Maybe or maybe not, God will explain it all later down the road. And who knows, maybe something good will happen to you today. Hugs BT
