Why do bullies bully? Bullies are very insecure about themselves in one or more of these areas: 1. They lack high self-esteem. He/she don’t have confidence or believe in themselves. 2. They are physically unhappy with the way he/she looks. 3. They lack social happiness and feel they are a social misfit within their peer group. 4. They lack peer acceptance. 5. They lack a strong family foundation and don’t feel their getting attention/love within the home environment. Because of these insufficiencies, bullies feel the only way to fit in or become recognized by their peer group is to bully others and boost their own self-confidence. Their goal is to find their placement in society. If they can "Degrade you" then they can "Upgrade" themselves in the process.
