Why do people in India struggle for jobs ? “Sir, I am a CS Engeneer, 2012 passout, no job sir. Please take me in your company” “Sir, I am a certified Network Admin.I worked in a small company, now its closed.I don’t have any job. Please consider my application.” If you are a job seeker, no one can understand the need of a job better than the above situations.Poeple are qualified, have certifications, have experience ( sometimes ) but they do struggle to get their dream jobs.Is it that difficult for a freshers ? I don’t think so. I have been working working with students and lateral professionals for quite a time now and found a specific pattern in the behavior of people who fail to get jobs , they struggle and land up in a mediocre job even after waiting and struggling for months and years. There is one main reason “ people do major in minor things”.I have seen students loosing focus and working on things which are irrelevant and relatively cheap. Just because a course is cheap , you don’t have to do it.Rather than doing 2-3 cheap courses do one good course, it will save your time for waiting and give you immediate opportunities.People don’t want to train themselves in the right skill. Why people do not train themselves for career growth and job opportunities ? Most of the people after their degrees and certifications WAIT WAIT WAIT for jobs and interview emails. They can buy a TShirt for 2k but will not use the same sum for their career growth.I have seen many final year students cribbing about financial issues, but honestly none of them have any as they do have a bike to ride and road across the city, weekly partys , shopping, some of them even donates money to Babas and temples, but not interested to use the same amount for their growth. I can see many people posting daily on this and other groups , I have done this certifications, this degree, this course and I dont have a job, can you help me.As an experiment I asked some of them to send me an email and asked what they have done to find a job. This is what I found : 1) Most of the people have not even prepared their resume well. They have merely copy pasted from someone else and just shooting it in all the emails they get. 2) People don’t even know how to write emails specially professional emails.I got emails like : “Brother I have done 401 certification.Need job urgently.Forward your resume in your company.Plz Plz Plz.” Why would I need such an employee in my company who don’t even know how to communicate? 3) Some of the people don’t even want a professional help after feedback.Look at the email I got today after I replied on one of the emails , I am not even asking him to join my course, join something else but please take a professional help: “Thanks for yr suggestions bro.But I think I can improve and will do it one day.Can you plz send me all your material.I am very poor.My father is a farmer.” You are surely a very poor guy,not by a monetary aspect but from a ethical and behavioral aspect. 4) I call some of the students for support as I found some of the cases are really genuine and they don’t have money to do a course, an need a job.I offer them free courses. To my surprise, most of them don’t even complete assignments on time, not even present in the course sometimes.See what one guy has responded when I asked him for timely submission for assignment : “Sir, I need to travel to my friend’s place so want attend the course for two days.Sir , do you have any references in Goa where we can stay.” No words to say.Simply speechless. Later on I got to know the person borrowed money to go to goa.God help him. 5) Some people don’t even want to give interviews, but they want to get selected. Some of them hire Ameetpet experts to give their interviews. Some of them even hire them to give certifications. That means people do have lots of money time and energy to waste but don’t want to work. Some suggestions from my side : 1) Don’t waste money and time on un-ethical means.People who are hiring you are more smarter than you. 2) Get professional help from industry experts. The money you pay is an investment and not fee, mind it. 3) Don’t beg for jobs, claim it. 4) People are poor not because of money but attitude. Get the write attitude. 5) Work on your communication skills, write good emails, even if you need to copy paste it from somewhere, please do it, but read it once before sending. 6) Be prepared. You never who which opportunity can help you to reach your dream job. 7) Find a good mentor, and stick to him. Good people do not entertain bullshit, so better not be in that category. 8) Be honest to yourself atleast. Still need a help.Send me an email on premiumworkshops@gmail.
