Why do women gossip so much? Funny :D A point to be noted is Gossip is not always harmful. But the intent behind it makes all the difference. Here are some of the reasons 1) To feel superior (people who dont feel good about themselves temporarily feel better when they judge others negatively) 2) Out of envy (people gossip to hurt the reputation of those whose popularity, talents or lifestyle they envy) 3) Out of boredom 4) To feel like part of the group 5)For attention 6) Out of anger or unhappiness. Come to think of it Gossipy people seem to be despos....not worth too much of your attention until and unless they cross the boundary of hurting your self respect too much :D
