Why is it all of a sudden Conservatives are now worrying about the poor in our country and believe we should take care of our own first compared to helping these young children crossing our borders for a better life ? Its not been very long ago these same Conservatives were all for cutting food stamps , passing laws to require Welfare recipients to be drug tested . Passed bills to cut SNAP (food stamps ) , refuse to extend unemployment insurance ,describing anyone using these programs as lazy, while at the same time passing out tax breaks to the rich and corporations , who are doing very well without them .
