Why is it so hard for people to have discussions and still be friendly. I love people to the nth degree, but it is really easy for me to have a heated discussion with someone where I completely disagree and not have it affect our friendship or relationship. Conflict is resolved through confrontation; discussion is a part of confrontation. Discussing things helps to produce results that are usually beneficial in the long run for both parties. Whats not to love about a good discuss where people can keep their heads on straight and their tempers cool?
