Why is it that we find ourselves thinking, Nothing will ever change... Im always going to be like this... My situation will never change... Hell never change... Shell never change... Im never going to be as good as so-and-so? The only thing that can never change is God. Everything else can change. But if you have no hope of seeing change in your situation, change probably isnt going to come. You know, we endure so many things emotionally that we really wouldnt have to suffer if we would put our hope in God and stop looking at all of the circumstances we cant control. Heres the good news: You can enjoy life if you decide to! But you must truly believe that it is Gods will for you to experience continual joy. Then you must seek Him, until you find Him, it is essential to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. God doesnt change, but He can change you if you let Him. If He wanted to reach me in the state I was in, I know He wants to reach each and every person out there and show them how much He loves them! 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13 23 Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright, 24 and he is gracious to that person and says to God, Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them— 25 let their flesh be renewed like a childs; let them be restored as in the days of their youth— 26 then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see Gods face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being. 27 And they will go to others and say, I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved. 28 God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life. 29 God does all these things to a person—twice, even three times— 30 to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them. Job 33:23-30 2 Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, The LORD has done great things for them. 3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. 4 Restore our fortunes,[fn]LORD, like streams in the Negev. 5 Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. 6 Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.
