Why is nobody focusing on Agenda 2? Despite being lesser comprehensive and pretty straightforward, the Agenda is far more country-centric and hardly arbitrary. It addresses detrimental and existential issues that Sri Lanka completely and factually does face. With factual consistency and a pretty solid background, any draft resolution we do derive from a discussion on this agenda will be as close to being real and implementable as an MUN can get. Child soldier recruitment, Tamilian-discrimination, patriarchal societal norms and even the blatantly insurgent Civil War, Sri Lankas noxious history is a jackpot for a hungry journalist, an arch nemesis country and a prospective MUNer debating alike. My vote goes for Agenda 2 and I hope Ive changed a few minds on this board as well. Thank you :)
