Why is this so difficult to see? Of all the corporations in the world, the one in most need of a RIF (reduction in force, a/k/a layoffs) is the US government. #1 - defund and dismantle the DHS #2 - defund the non-impact social programs (National Endowment for the Arts for example) #3 - dismantle the czar positions and return to a true cabinet #4 - enforce the Paperwork Reduction Act, starting with the IRS tax code #5 - totally privatize Medicaid. This is a strong success in many states, saving billions each year. Thats a start. A lot more could be done. Common sense should prevail but sadly is missing these days...
