Why not April 9th. Sure its no specific holiday but why not. When you lose someone everyone just expects you to get over it. Everyone seems to give you a short grieving period. When it first happens everyone is a shoulder, an ear, a beer and conversation. But its noe April so I guess some things wrong with me right? She passed in June but people deal with death everyday right life goes on. No, wrong...I miss her every day. To be honest more so on days Im not supposed to. Days when I instinctively go to pick up the phone and call and then the harsh reality sets in. The way she went reaffirms my stance on karma which is simply I dont believe in it. Nor do I put faith in cute plays off the English language or sayings by revered people in history. Today was in no particular way a special day or different than the others...today was just another day. Another day I am motherless.
