Why the brand team loves Hardwired for Adventure as the new tagline for Squamish: 1. According to 1143 surveys, Squamtonians are hardwired for adventure. We overwhelming heard that seeking (‘soft’ or ‘hardcore’) adventure was a big deal in our community. It’s in our DNA and defines who we are and why we live here. Whether aged two, or 72, we flock outdoors at any given opportunity to embrace our incredible natural surroundings in search of adventure. 2. The town of Squamish itself is hardwired for adventure through the infrastructure - both natural and manmade, that connects throughout our community offering opportunities for every possible kind of adventure. This includes our natural assets (lakes, rivers, mountains and ocean), and our human-built assets (trails, rock-climbs, water access points). 3. It can also be tied to our innovative and emerging economy, with a nod to the growing tech and knowledge-based industries here. We are a forward-looking community that continues to embrace a diverse industry sector mix, and that now has two universities, innovative educational institutions, and a growing segment of knowledge-based entrepreneurs.
