Why wasnt pressure applied so that Dr. Sue Davis would accept accountability for her mess of the Danville City School System, instead of allowing her to take the back door option of retiring with a pension? It is simply unscrupulous for the School board to hire Dr. Newsome knowing the mess that he was going to inherit. You cant help but to be the person looking at a movie knowing whats hiding behind the corner and yelling Dont Do It! you already know whats up. Dr. Newsome was a sacrificial lamb to cover up the incompetents of Dr. Sue Davis. It is what it is, but it isnt just for you to compare a few years work of clean up to years of unorganized madness. The wretched part is the student are the true victims here. It seems as if they werent considered at all in the plan. Some people truly deserve to loose their seat behind this. Its time to give members of the school board a pink slip.
