Wicklow County Council wish to advise motorists that the 19 Arches Bridge in Arklow will be closed to traffic on Monday 30th September from 10.00pm, to 6am on Tuesday 1st October. This closure is necessary to complete road construction works at the centre of the roadway, which will not allow traffic to pass on either side. The works are being carried out overnight to minimise inconvenience to the public. Use of the bridge will be allowed for the emergency services if required and pedestrian access will also be maintained on the bridge during the closure. Wicklow County Council and Arklow Town Council wish to apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused.
