Lin Yao Li, who allegedly slept with the husband of one of the women who attacked her, was punched to the ground, had her clothes ripped off, and then was kicked repeatedly in the breasts and groin. Police did not intervene nor did witnesses. This form of vigilante justice is apparently on the rise in China and is seen as a reaction to a prevailing concubine culture, where wealthy and powerful Chinese men often retain mistresses.
