Wildlife & Scenic Photography Contest ends Aug. 15; vote now! By Ron Bain, Watchdog Editor With a record setting number of entries this year, the Wildlife & Scenic Photo Contest will take some time to view so that you can select your favorite wildlife and scenic photos. It’s really very easy: Just visit the Watchdog’s Facebook page (https://facebook/pages/Western-Slope-Watchdog/), go to Photos, then Albums, and select the 2014 Wildlife and Scenic Photo contest. Then view all the photos and “Like” your favorite wildlife photo and your favorite scenic photo (limit two votes per person). The top winning photos will appear on the cover of the Western Slope Watchdog in September. There’s still time to enter photos into the contest, but earliest entries clearly have an advantage – they’ll have more time to accrue “Likes.” Just send your photos to wswdog@gmail or westernslopewatchdog@gmail. Limit five photos per person. The animals photographed must be wild, no domesticated or tamed by feeding. No automated surveillance photos. Good luck, shutterbugs!
