Kurutz DATE: 1/28/2014 TIME: 1740 LOCATION: 189 MIDLAND CT PERSONS INVOLVED: Arrested - Gloria Howard Irving Pl W-B INCIDENT DETAILS: Officers dispatched to 189 Midland Ct for a report of a domestic dispute (daughter vs. mother). Upon arrival officers were met at the door by Gloria Howard (hereafter referred to as the defendant), she was on a cell phone and she was talking to an unknown person yelling obscenities. She was asked to refrain from the yelling and to remain calm & go inside the residence. Once inside the residence, officers made contact with Gloria Remus (hereafter referred to as the Victim). Victim stated her daughter (Defendant), did not live with her and she wanted her to leave. Victim further stated the Defendant took her cell phone and got into an argument with her boyfriend. Victim asked for the phone back and for the Defendant to leave the residence, she did not want the drama in her house. Defendant then got up from the couch, still on the phone, arguing with her boyfriend and attempted to leave the residence, victim attempted to retrieve her phone and she was pushed to the floor by the Defendant. Defendant complained of pain to her right hip (recent hip surgery) and pain to her right wrist (redness and swelling evident). Defendant was taken into custody for suspicion of Domestic Violence. Transported to police HQ for processing. Defendant charged with Simple Assault & is awaiting arraignment. LTSO488
