Will Mexican Wolves Survive ? Flawed Mexican Wolf Plan Needs Your Voice. The fate of the Mexican wolf is being decided right now—these beautiful and all too rare animals need you to stand up and speak for them. Now the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is re-considering the framework for Mexican wolf recovery and is proposing taking baby steps when bold steps are needed. You have until October 28 to tell the Service that Mexican wolves are essential and that lobos should have the freedom to roam beyond arbitrary, political boundaries that hinder recovery. Tell the Service that a comprehensive, scientifically valid recover plan must be developed that allows Mexican wolves to expand from the Greater Gila north to the Grand Canyon, Southern Utah and to the Southern Rockies. Mexican wolves are essential and so is your voice. Please stand up and be counted to ensure a brighter future for wolves in the Southwest. For the Lobo,
