Will we have a WWIII? And will it be the forces of government vs. the people? It might be! All the pre-conditions are in place.... A Congress that continues to behave like Louis the XVI except worse.... In this iteration, the monarchist Congress blames the people for the economic problems we face. It never looks inward as to its own failures.... For the people, the deciding factor as to whether to act or not would be desperation. Desperation becomes critical when the people see no other way out! All of these elements are in play with other variables such as the prospect for heightened disease to which the government has turned its back. and in fact, cut research, funding, and trials..... And the effects of drought and flooding on future crops. It has all the makings of a Malthusian nightmare and nobody is worried. And then there is infrastructure. What happens if the roads crumble, if the trucks cannot get through? What will happen to inflation then? And with the lack of control over big business, govt has left itself vulnerable despite its best instincts. So, many of the moves are in play as we speak.... And it is reason for concern! What we the people will do is beyond imagining..... Will we become serfs again? I dont know. Will we choose to fight instead? Possible; but only if we are at extremis; that much is clear! One thing is clear, the TP that influences the entire GOP is out of sync and will not change its thinking.... And, whatever happens, that is the kiss of death.... But it may be for all!....
