Wilsons Creek Moonlight Tour was Saturday night the 13th. In the past, I was one of the characters participating in the Tour, but this year I had had a job that also allowed me to take pictures. It was a little more difficult task that I really expected. The very low light made it difficult to focus the camera and sometimes, getting the characters to freeze during a 25 or 30 second exposure was hard. But they were willing to cooperate and really tried. But they also had things they had to do and this was not a studio set-up just for photography opportunities. And it doesnt help me one bit with my older failing eyesight and that darn small screen on the back of the camera, because there were about a half a dozen more pictures that I thought I had nailed, only to get home and find out the focus was too soft to be useable. Still it was a lot of fun and I cant help but think about the possibilities next year.
