Doug Wimbish with Victor Wooten, Brandon Niederauer TAZ, Eric McFadden, Dug Pinnick, Wonder Mike & Master Gee, Meytal Cohen and DiViNCi. 4:00pm Doug Wimbish’s Wimbash 2015- (Living Colour- Bass Player) A highly respected and sought-after master of his instrument, bassist Doug Wimbish records and performs with a diverse roster of talent. From his early days with Sugarhill Records, to his pioneering work in Tackhead and Living Colour, Doug is best described as a musical virtuoso. Joining Doug will be 11 year old guitar prodigy, Brandon Neiderauer, who has played with some of the best in the business including Gary Clark Jr, Gregg Allman, Warren Haynes, Butch Trucks and Steve Vai. 4:30pm Victor Wooten with Doug Wimbish, playing together for the first time! Victor Wooten is a 5-time Grammy winner and founding member of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Victor has won many major awards, including winning “Bassist of the Year” in Bass Player Magazine’s reader’s poll three times and Rolling Stone Magazine voted him one of the Top 10 Bassist’s of ALL Time in 2011. He and Doug Wimbish will be playing together for the first time, and it is an event that should not be missed! 5:00pm Jack Bruce Tribute (with Victor Wooten, Doug Wimbash, Meytal Cohen and Special Guest) As a grand finale, Doug Wimbish and Victor Wooten will be joined by YouTube drum sensation Meytal Cohen, in a tribute to the late-great Jack Bruce, bassist for the legendary 60’s super-group, Cream.
