Winding down from an eventful Mothers Day weekend. My family got together Saturday for a big family portrait, and then had Catfish Cabin with swimming at our place afterward. Today, I got to hear my lovely Madison and Jordan at The farewell concert of Philip Skinner and Valerie Burrets. It was so cool to see them on stage and performing with their cousin for the last time before he goes off to the big city. Then, we had pizza with all of Bryans family at our house and caught up with Andrew and Kristina who have been in Plano for Andrews first year on the force. Philip is headed to NYU, and Emilie has finished her first year as a teacher. Matthew, who is graduating soon with his Masters was very missed. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with everyone, and then Madison topped off my evening with a list of things she loves about me. Made my whole night-- but these girls have made my life.
