Windows OS experts ... I need your help. I purchased a Surface Pro 2 last year, which is currently running Windows 8.1. Ive got my main login set up as administrator and am using my Microsoft account for services, such as SkyDrive. Ive not changed any of this account information that I know of. Recently, I began to have an issue where I cant save files from applications to places like SkyDrive. I get an access error. I can copy/paste to these location through Explorer, but I get an admin popup where I have to click OK to grant access. Ive tried verifying account info, checking folder/file permissions in the problem locations, changing security and firewall settings ... all to no avail. What am I missing? Its extremely frustrating as Im essentially limited to open read/write access in my user directories.
