Winston 28 Jan 1999 – 18 July 2014 It is with regret, we announce the passing of Winston, our most loyal and loving little Westie boy. Winston was 15.5 years old and leaves behind his sister Margot, his littermate, born outside of Pittsburgh, 28 January 1999. After being diagnosed with lymphoma and congestive heart failure, he recently came home from the hospital with hopes of having a little more time with us. However, that was not to be. His big heart just couldn’t take it; even with our efforts to perform CPR on the way to the Vet ER, he passed in our arms. We would like to thank team of physicians and staff at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware and the Wilmington Animal Hospital who treated Winston throughout the years. Their dedication, expertise and compassion gave Winston many more years with us. It gives us great comfort knowing our friend Keren was waiting for Winston with open arms; he is now back to chasing bunnies and eating all the peanut butter his big heart desires under her care. Winston, our love for you is immeasurable and we want you to know you gave us so much more than we gave you.
