Winter Weather Advisory A winter weather advisory remains in effect from 9 am Friday to 6 pm Saturday for snow, sleet and freezing rain. The precipitation is expected to transition to all snow Friday night, and continue into Saturday. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches will be common, with locally higher amounts likely to occur. Precipitation will develop this morning and increase in coverage Friday afternoon, eventually transitioning to all snow Friday night. The precipitation is expected to end Saturday afternoon. A wintry mix followed by accumulating snow will make roads icy and snowpacked, resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
