Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. - Proverbs 4:7 There is no exclusive ownership of wisdom, everyone can get it, if not the Bible will not say so. The Bible also stipulates how to obtain wisdom, it says, “Exalt her, and she shall promote thee… when thou dost embrace her.” (Prov. 4:8). That is, place premium on it, value wisdom. And when that is done the Bible continues, “She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.” (Prov. 4:9). So, wisdom is a giver, wisdom is the link between you and your want. When you get wisdom, your wants are cheaply delivered. In the Word today, you will find people vainly running after material things, running after promotion, seeking to be recognized, desiring fame, instead of getting wisdom and cheaply getting all their wants. The Bible talking about the fame of Christ attributed it to two forces; the force of power and that of wisdom. That is why in Luke 4:14 it was reported that “…Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit…and there went out a fame of him through all the region roundabout.” And in verse 36 and 37 of the same scripture we saw that, “…they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, what Word is this…And the fame of him went out into every place…” because he was speaking Words of wisdom. When Solomon contacted wisdom his fame spread that people came to him from all over the earth (I Kgs 10). If you are operating in wisdom , you do not need to be everywhere to be known, you do not need to beg for promotion, you do not need to run after wealth. Wisdom will get everything for you. Wisdom is the needed ingredient for your elevation. Through wisdom is a house builded, it takes wisdom to operate at fame frequency. Ask God for wisdom today and you shall be elevated.
