Wishing everyone great learning and good times at the 2013 Virginia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference. I will be there in spirit, enjoying the hot springs and eating cookies at the fundraiser booths to chase all the bacon from the breakfast buffet. To my former Virginia Tech students in attendance, remember the first rule of VMEA: Do not get drunk at VMEA. (There is a small exception for Club 900, if you have already graduated and have a job. Just remember that its a long hallway to walk, and it only gets longer with shame.)
