With Grandma here I could cheat a bit and let her greet Baby A at 6 am and I could sneak off for a shower at some point. Grandma went home today so with an extra cow (soon two extra) to milk here are my calculations: 15 minutes after alarm to go to bathroom, throw on clothes, make coffee and throw milker together 8 cows x an average of 12 minutes to get them in the stanchion, cleaned, milked and fed = 96 minutes 30 minutes to finish outdoor chores, pour up milk and clean milker. 15 minutes to shower If everything goes without a hitch, looks like my alarm needs to be set for 3:30am for the next few months Oy Vey!
