With a heavy heart, I say thanks to Shira Richter for sharing this. Woman soldiers tell of their daily activities, routine and boring, serving in the West Bank, and describe their daily activities ruining the lives of Palestinians there. And sure as the sun shines, some friends will shout its exceptions and bad eggs! or these women arent genuine, theyre political! - um, what? ...which is what the reporter implies at the end. But please lets face reality: this is policy, not anomaly. This is what society defends as patriotic. Isnt it enough already? Isnt it exhausting, knowing and justifying the terrible damage we are causing? Isnt anyone else weary to their bones?
