With a heavy heart, today the world lost an amazing woman. A woman who had such an impact on me that I would not be where I am without her. She was our first foster mom, took five children ages 3 and under into her home without hesitation. Five abused, starving, and frightened children. She fed us, clothed us, potty trained us, prayed for us, loved us, and in a nut shell she saved our lives. She adopted my little brother and yet through the years followed all of our lives, prayed for us and never stopped loving us. I am so proud to have had a close relationship with her in the last decade and she was proud of me and of all of my siblings. She was an amazing woman with a heart of gold. never fussed about herself, never wanted anyone to fuss about her. she gave all of herself to the kids she fostered, but special attention to the five of us. She lived a life completly selfless and full of love. She is home now. Love you mama Deb Martin.
