With a rather large inner chuckle social media, which Bansky himself made a name from, is sharing what happened to one of his latest priceless artworks Someone graffitid it. For me, that is the priceless part. Not more than a month ago I read how one of Banskys latest had been scrubbed off a wall by the council after a complaint about it being racist, before he had a change to announce it. Ironically, the council scrubbing made the wall look more dirty and a mess and bring down the tone of the environment to anyone looking at it vs Banskys clearly politically motivated pigeon vs parrot graffiti. For another time I will discuss our local councils turning our environment into shit holes from apathy. So this article. Valuable Banksy art vandalised. How do you vandalise something which has already been vandalised. Our system has become an oxymoron of itself. We allow and promote vandalism, applaud it while it is done by celebrity. Celebrity or fame creates absolution from the law. Only Banksy himself can counter the myth that there is one rule for rich and famous, and another for the masses. You cannot vandalise the vandaliser. If Bansky does not agree with this, he is a simple criminal, no different to how we romanticse the Great Train Robbery. Your call #Bansky
