With all the photos and comments about children starting school for the first time, reminded me of my own kids starting school....Cam cried (poor kid he was the only white kid in the school...how cruel were we!!!). Fraz went for one day and then announced he wasnt going back again (the school rang me and told me they had made a mistake and he shouldnt have started the following year....) Kik just went - cant remember what he did, think I just shoved him in the front door and forgot about him (poor little bugger). Mu started Hagen Park School and just recall the school uniform was miles too big...I lectured her teacher about her being left handed and UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WAS SHE TO BE FORCED TO WRITE WITH HER RIGHT HAND (like I was -- in the bad old days). The teacher was very kind she assured me that it would not happen because she was left handed herself...dont recall shedding any tears......
