Running/Cycling/Swimming summary Started my running with CTC 10X10, a year back. Before that I hadn’t even walked 10k except doing treks. My first marathon was CTM 2013 and running has become a passion from then. Like many, I cycled to school. After all those years,I started cycling to do off-roading because like MTB rides as many days cycled off-roading with rented bikes and borrowing from friends. my interest turn into long distance Brevet rides happy that i can able to withstand in Brevets so far completed two Randonneur series (200,300,400,600), BRM 1000 and BRM1200. Swimming was a childhood routine, swimming in agriculture wells and quarries is my regular weekend activity in my school days sometime its extend weekdays too. As am not trained under any coach, my swimming style was weak and now am getting better with Tom guidance. The longest distance I swam is 10K. First Triathlon inspiration Challenges in Triathlon Getting out of complete a Triathlon. Triathlon is a three-sport athletic competition involving swimming, cycling, and running. Its an endurance sport and athletes train in all three disciplines developing increased physical fitness and cardiovascular benefits. More than all; a greater satisfaction. The challenges faced to completed my highest Triathlon. My highest triathlon is Half Iron man. I finished my half iron with my MTB. Even though it was quite comfortable, The giant MTB tires kill my energy level, it slowed down my pace and made my running legs tired. To overcome injuries I worked on Strengthening and interval training. Began swimming under proper coach which helped me improve my swimming efficiency. And did intense Road bike training. Suggestions to new Triathlonist Follow a disciplined triathlon training plan. Training is ever more important, than doing the event. My future sports goals. To move to the next level and achieve newer heights by participating in international events like PBP and Iron Man. #ChennaiTriathlon
