With schools closing due to the threat of winter weather, BREC will offer a one-day winter camp to children ages 4-12 on Friday, January 24. All other BREC facilities will open during normal operating hours. The following locations in Baker, Central and Zachary will provide a one-day winter camp from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. at a fee of $10 per child. Each child should bring two snacks, a packed lunch and drinks for the day. BREC must have a minimum of 10 children at each facility in order to house these camps so please call the recreation center tonight to ensure the correct staff to child ratio. T. D.
