With the high use of smart phones, when is the Federal Government (Telecommunications is a Federal matter in the Constitution) going to mandate higher mobile coverage, especially in high traffic zones like the Otways? If you breakdown in that area, good luck trying to get coverage! Imagine being a stranded tourist. This is unnacceptable for a 1st world country trying to promote its best features to the world. Try spending less on expensive USA built defence machinery (Where is the risk in this day and age?) and fund what we need. I am sick of my taxes being wasted on USA military machinery. Live for today not for what might be. If we cut defence even further we could even have decent roads on the tourist routes along the great Ocean Rd and Princes Freeway.
