With the news of the passing at 1st reading of the historic Anti Selfie Bill . . our most esteemed members of the Philippine Congress have proven themselves to be true statesmen . . . committed to the advancement of the lives of the Filipino through the enactment of important legislations. Now they can proceed to other more important issues such as : 1. Opposing the position that Hello Kitty is not a Cat. it has affected the lives of many children and have caused emotional stress to people spanning generations. (As suggested by my brother Angel Manabat) 2. Establishing once and for all the proper interpretation of the policy that states Whenever a holiday falls on a Sunday . . The next day is Monday. . This issue has caused a lot of students and parents to suffer from sleepless nights as they await the formal pronouncement of local govt officials when this condition occurs.
