With the passing of The Godfather of House Music Frankie Knuckles last night I wonder if he was proud at how the sounds he created right here in this city would go on to inspire all these DJs today. I wonder if he ever thought in his wildest dreams that there would be DJs that sellout concerts or arenas? I wonder if he thought all this new music was good or bad for the House scene? I cant slam any of the shit thats on the radio because all it has done is show how far house has come. I tell you after 2000 when they started playing hip hop in the clubs I thought it was over. Now with all these festivals and dedicated stations that play all forms of house music it is stronger then ever. House used to be underground because the society rejected it. Now these kids are rocking out at early ages. I would rather these kids be listening to a so called sellout like Avicci or Guetta then rap shit with their pants to the floor.. Anyway RIP To the GOH!!! #frankieknuckles
