We will negotiate with Boko Haram on the release of the abducted girls. - Abba Moro, Minister of Interior. The Federal Govt has not taken a position on whether to negotiate with Boko Haram on the release of the abducted girls. - Labaran Maku, Minister of Information. The Federal Govt will not negotiate with Boko Haram for any reason. - Marilyn Ogar, Spokesperson for the SSS. The Federal Govt will negotiate with Boko Haram for the release of the abducted girls. Shekau should send his trusted emissary to the FG standing committee for negotiation. - Saminu Turaki, Minister of Special Duties. These cacophony of voices can only breed distrust and confusion. I think the President need to designate a single person to speak to the public on issues relating to Boko Haram so as to avoid this seeming confusion brought about by the conflicting statements from top Federal Govt officials on the same issue.
